Seychelles paradise lost now found

Today is commemorated around the world as Worlds AIDS Day.

It’s 28-years since AIDS was first identified & we are still searching for a much needed cure. With continuing medial breakthroughs, drugs have been developed that allow an improved quality of life as well as offering an extended life expectancy.

In South Africa we are probably more aware than most as to the devastating effect HIV/AIDS has on everyday life. AIDS is often considered a disease that only affects certain members of our society, however the reality is that AIDS sees no boundaries. Today spare a thought for the estimated 33.4 million people worldwide (of which 2.1 million are children), who are living with HIV.

The Seychelles is one of the world’s most beautiful holiday destinations. Hundreds of filmed beach commercials can’t be wrong. Despite its huge popularity with international tourists, the Seychelles has still managed to retain that idyllic desert island feel.

Choose from the hundreds of secluded beaches or coves & you will believe you are the only inhabitant in what can only be described as nature’s paradise. It’s no wonder the Seychelles is often referred to as the original Garden of Eden.

The main island Mahe, which is home to the international airport, is as busy as it gets! Life is totally laid-back & after a few days you will easily slip into this mode of thought.

Whatever your thoughts are on the Seychelles they’re probably true. A dream destination if there was ever one.
