As for some trivia – Saint Patrick didn’t actually come from Ireland, but was taken prisoner from Britain by Irish raiders & was brought to Ireland to work as a shepherd. He escaped & later returned to Ireland as a missionary & is credited with bringing Christianity to Ireland. The first ever St. Patrick’s Day parade was held in Boston in 1761. Today parades are organised throughout the United States, cities & towns all over Ireland, Northern Ireland, Britain, Australia & even commemorated by US soldiers in Baghdad

The annual Cape Argus Pick n Pay Cycle Tour will be taking place on Sunday 14th March with the race covering 109 kms of breathtaking scenery across the Cape Peninsula. You are required to check your bike in in advance of your travel date (at least 3 days prior to travel) & you must take your bike, along with your e-ticket, to the domestic cargo area. No bikes will be accepted for travel in the passenger terminals.

- Handlebars turned parallel with frame
